Iannis Lake has an area of 24ha with depths ranging from 1.6m in the margins to 3.3m in the middle. Most of the lake’s bottom is quite hard. There are some silty areas as well, particularly in the deepest areas, but the lakebed is generally ideal for presenting carp baits and rigs. There are no snaggy or abrasive areas. Fish can be easily played from the bank.

The lake is rectangular in shape with 18 wide swims which are designed for comfortable camping. All swims have access to a strech of water with similar depths and structures. There are 13 islands built along the axis of the lake. The islands are used as natural markers to determine the boundaries for each swim. The swims are displayed on two opposite banks.
