1. FISHING STYLE
Carp anglers can either use boats and baitboats or cast from the bank. All fishing is on a catch-and-release basis only. Taking, moving or killing any fish is strictly prohibited at all times.

2. SESSION LENGTH
The minimum length of a session is three days (72 hours). Sessions start at 2pm and must finish by 12 noon.

Fishing period was devided in two :
SEASON – 20 april – 15 june /24 august – 26 octomber
EXTRASEASON – 1 january-19 april / 16 june- 23 august / 27 octomber – 31 december


3. BILLING PERIOD
Customers will be invoiced for a minimum of three days (72 hours), followed by one or several extra days (24-hour intervals) depending on their session length.

4. BOOKING SYSTEM
Given that Iannis is a medium difficulty lake, the booking system is designed to favour longer sessions. The longer the session, the better the chances to understand the lake and fish well. Bookings are made according to the following system:
-during SEASON period the bookings can be done for 7 days with entrance on Saturday.

Within the limit of pegs left unreserved until the end of January, they can be book for a minimum of 3 days with 3 months in advance, the fishing trip in this case must ends Saturday
– for block bookings, reservations can be made starting from September
– for fishing trips at least five days (120 hours), bookings can be made starting from December for any period of the following year.
– for fishing trips of three days (72 hours) or four days (96 hours), bookings can be made three months in advance , prior to remain unsold pegs

5. NUMBER OF RODS
A peg can be fished by one or more anglers. Price is depending of number of rods used ( 4 or 6 ). All rods must be fished from the same swim and not spread along the bank.

6. CARP CARE EQUIPMENT
(a) Each peg will have a house with dimension of 4×4 with following facilities
-2 beds with mattres
-table
-minifrige
-electricity

(b) Each swim will be supplied with the following equipment free of charge: an unhooking mat, a weigh sling, a tripod.
(c) Anglers are required to see that the fish care equipment is used properly. In the event of damaging the unhooking mat or weigh sling because of improper use, the anglers will have to cover the following costs:
– unhooking mat = 800 lei (160euros)
– weigh sling = 400 lei (80 euros)
(d) Anglers may use their own unhooking mats and weigh slings if they wish, but only after disinfecting them upon arrival. To prevent the transmission of diseases, it is forbidden to use personal unhooking mats or weigh slings if they have not been disinfected in the disinfectant bins provided.


7. ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
(a) Upon arrival, anglers are required to register with the lake bailiff before proceding to their swims. The bailiff will explain the site rules and regulations.
(b) Personal cars can be pulled up to the swims to unload the gear. After unloading, anglers are required to take their cars to the parking lot. Cars will remain in the parking lot for the duration of the session.
(c) At the end of the session, anglers may drive their cars to the swims to load their gear, but only after the rods are out of the water. Driving around the lake without the knowledge and approval of the bailiff is prohibited.
(d) For security reasons, the management reserves the right to check the anglers’ cars or luggage at any time from the moment they enter the premises until leaving. Refusal to allow baggage or car inspection may be considered attempted theft. Failure to comply may result in the angler’s being asked to leave with immediate effect, without being entitled to any refund.
(e) There will be no entry or exit from the fishery at night, except in an emergency. Visitors are not allowed to stay overnight without the acceptance of administration. Visitors’ cars will remain in the parking lot for the duration of their visit.
(f) The management operates a 15km/h speed limit on site. Driving around the lake should be always done at low speed.

8. FISHING GEAR
(a) Dedicated carp gear (rods, reels, landing net) must be used at all times. Feeder fishing gear is not allowed. Anglers are required to use an appropriate 42”-50” fish safe landing net. There should be a minimum of two landing nets in each swim. All landing nets must be disinfected prior to use in the disinfectant bins provided.
(b) Minimum monofilament main line thickness to be used for casting is 0.40mm. This includes nylon and fluorocarbon. No braided main lines (except on marker rods) to be used. Is not allowed to use shock leaders.
(c) Minimum monofilament main line thickness to be used for rowing out hookbaits (when using boats) is 0.40mm. This includes nylon and fluorocarbon. No braided main lines to be used. Shock leaders are not required since there are no snags.
(d) Is required to add a minimum of 70cm of either leadcore or sinking rig-tube to protect the fish during a fight.
(e) Fish must be played from the bank at all times. Anglers using boats must not play the fish from the boat unless the fish gets stuck in an underwater obstacle, which is very unlikely given there are no snags. If a fish must be netted from the boat, is must be brought ashore in the landing net, which should kept parallel to the boat.
(f) Anglers using boats are allowed to permanently mark their spots with tubular flexible markers. The tubular markers can remain in position throughout the session. H-block markers can only be used for temporarily marking a spot and must be removed before fishing. Anglers are not allowed to fish to H-block markers because the fish, or the main line, can get tangled in the marker cord.
(g) Green, brown and camo carp bivvies are allowed for camping. Gazebos and brollies are also allowed.
(h) Anglers are advised to bring their own chest waders bearing in mind that big carp (over 20kg) can only be photographed in the water. There are dedicated platforms for photographing fish. While chest waders may not be necessary in the summer when the water is warm, they are a required in the cold season.

9. CARP RIGS
(a) All carp rigs must use only one hook. Multiple hook rigs, or trebles, are not allowed.
(b) Leads must easily discharge from rigs. Only safe rigs utilising a proper lead discharge system, such as safety bolt beads, are allowed. If helicopter rigs or chod rigs are used, the hook link must easily slide off the tubing or leadcore in the event of a breakage. Lead clips must be standard type that secure the swivel. Rubber must be set so the lead can release with ease. Please note that rigs may be subject to checks by bailiffs.
(c) Only dedicated carp hooks are allowed. Maximum hook size 2 micro-barbed. Minimum hook size 6 micro-barbed. Barbless hooks are also permitted. Small feeder fishing hooks are forbidden.

10. CARP BAITS
(a) The following baits are allowed: standard and soluble boilies, pellets, groundbaits, prepared seeds, particles and nuts. All multiple baits such as seeds, nuts, peas and beans must be well soaked and well cooked. Uncooked seeds, particles and nuts are not allowed.
(b) To maintain water quality and protect the fish, all baits must be used in moderation and some bait restrictions can be imposed if necessary. Please contact the bailiffs for further details.

11. FISH CARE
(a) Anglers are not allowed to leave their baited rods unattended. If a swim if fished by a single angler, and the angler must leave the swim more than 50 meters , for whatever reason, all baited rods must be wound-in. It is not acceptable to leave rods under the control of neighbouring anglers except for very short periods of time. Wound-in rods must not be left unattended without the hookbait being removed.
(b) Once netted, fish must be manipulated over the metal grid in front of the swim. Do not net or take the fish out of the water except in designated areas.
(c) When removing the fish from the water, anglers must break down their landing net and transfer the fish in a weigh sling. For safety reasons, the fish can only be taken out of the water in a weigh sling. Fish must never be lifted from the water in the landing net.
(d) To protect the fish, unhooking mats must be half filled with water at the very minimum.
(e) All fish over 20kg must be reported to the bailiff immediately by telephone or text message. Bailiffs can be notified at all times, day or night. The fish must be kept in the water (either in a landing net or a weigh sling) until the bailiff arrives. Big fish will be weighted over the special platform for weighing )
(f) Weighing and photographing carp over 20kg is only allowed in the presence of a bailiff and only in the water
(g) Under NO circumstance should any fish be held in a sack. Sacking fish is not permitted, and sacks must not be brought onto the site. Anyone caught with a sacked fish will be asked to leave the fishery immediately
(h) The baliffs will provide anglers with carp care kits free of charge. The carp care kits must be used for all captures

12. FURTHER INFORMATION
(a) Is not allowed to smoke or cook inside the house
(b) Anglers must keep all houses,swims, camping areas, toilets and shower blocks clean throughout their stay. Cigarette ends and rubbish must be placed in suitable containers and not left on the ground at any time. Anglers are responsible for their swim’s tidiness at all times.
(c) Drugs, alcohol abuse and excessive noise will not be tolerated. All alcohol must be consumed in moderation. Anyone found intoxicated will be asked to leave. Anglers are required to treat the fishery and its surroundings and wildlife with complete care and respect. Anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated.
(d) Swimming is not allowed.
(e) Open fire is prohibited. The use of a barbeque is allowed. All waste must be removed from the barbecues and disposed of properly.
(g) There is a waste sorting and collection program on site. The bailiffs will provide all the info with regard to sorting waste. Food waste must be disposed of carefully to keep rodents at bay.
(h) Oil used for cooking must be disposed of properly. The lake does not have any facilities to collect used oil.
(i) Anglers must stop fishing during thunder and lightning. Always be very careful in electrical storms.


NOTE
Fishing is carried out entirely at the angler’s own risk. The management accept no responsibility for any accidents or damage that might occur on the property.
Failure to comply with the lake’s rules will result in an immediate ban from the fishery with no refund.
Any situation not covered by these rules will be resolved by the management.
