All carp rigs must use only one hook. Multiple hook rigs, or trebles, are not allowed. 

Leads must easily discharge from rigs. Only safe rigs utilising a proper lead discharge system, such as safety bolt beads, are allowed. If helicopter rigs or chod rigs are used, the hook link must easily slide off the tubing or leadcore in the event of a breakage. Lead clips must be standard type that secure the swivel. Rubber must be set so the lead can release with ease. Please note that rigs may be subject to checks by bailiffs.

Only dedicated carp hooks are allowed. Maximum hook size 2 micro-barbed. Minimum hook size 6 micro-barbed. Barbless hooks are also permitted. Small feeder fishing hooks are forbidden.
